In accordance with our policy of alternating convention sites between districts, 2026's convention will be held in the North District.  Mt. Olive Lutheran, located in Weston, has invited us to be their guest this year.  We appreciate the invitation!   Weston is just south of Wausau, 85 miles east of Green Bay, and 140 miles north of Madison.

The day's events include two exciting programs intended to help us in the service of providing the Lord's Supper to the brothers and sisters in our congregations. 

First, Rev. Preston Paul will present the topic "The Altar Guild:  Putting on the Mind of Jesus, through the Psalms, as We Serve."  Rev. Paul is the second vice president, North Wisconsin District of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod.  He serves as pastor to Zion Lutheran Church in Eleva, Wisconsin.

The afternoon program, led by Rev. Donald Engebretson, is entitled "Journeying through the Church Year at the Altar."  Rev. Engebretson pastors St. Peter Lutheran Church in Antigo, and serves as first vice president of the North Wisconsin District, LCMS.

Our thanks to these two busy pastors who have offered to help make our convention super interesting!
