Convention overview

In accordance with our policy of alternating convention sites between districts, 2025's convention will be held in the South District.  Elm Grove Lutheran located in Elm Grove (Milwaukee area) has invited us to be their guest this year.  We appreciate the invitation!  Last year, the pastors and altar guild of Beautiful Savior Lutheran in Plover hosted our members with a day devoted to education and inspiration, and we plan to repeat those experiences. 

As usual, we will begin our day in Elm Grove with a continental breakfast.  During the time allotted for breakfast and registration, members and guests will also be able to tour the church property, with special attention paid to altar guild areas and local practices.  This is always a helpful part of the day.

After breakfast and touring, we will celebrate The Lord's Supper in communion in a special service.  In this service, we join with the members of multiple churches from both North and South Wisconsin districts.  

The remaining events of the day include a presentation relating to our service as guild members.  In addition, we will enjoy an excellent lunch, and an afternoon discussion of matters relating to questions of interest.  We welcome your questions and comments during this time of sharing.

The topic(s) to be presented in the 2025 convention are yet to be announced.  The executive committee will be meeting to discuss these and will publish details as soon as they are available.
